Relaxing in the oversized and comfortable family room is a treat for young and not-so-young alike. The feeling is rich and luxurious enough that you will truly feel "away from it all," but not so fancy that you and your family will be afraid to sit back and enjoy the game on the high definition DLP (better than plasma) television equipped with DVD, DVR, and surround sound. The family room of this Palm Desert condo rental features a comfortable chaise lounge, sectional sofa, custom entertainment unit, and a 42" high definition DLP television with surround sound - AND a view of the 9th hole fairway of the Ted Robinson designed championship golf course.
The dining area is nice and open to the kitchen via the pass through bar, and to the family room for great views onto the golf course. We love to spread out as a family, but with this layout, we can all still be in the same room. The high speed "wi-fi" internet service allows you to work if you have to. My favorite spots when I must work are on the chaise lounge in the family room and at the bar.
The chestnut brown paint creates a warmth I never would have expected, without making the space dark. The contrast of rich wood, sleek travertine, and interesting textures indulges the senses without assaulting them. Everything about this Palm Desert rental condo is soothing!
The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped for indoor and outdoor dining. We have supplied all of the necessities of home and almost all of the extra items you wish you had at some of those other Palm Desert condo rentals. You'll find elegant dishes, and trendy plastic outdoor items. There is plenty of everything so that no one will have to be a slave to the dishwasher either. Fill the beautiful new stainless fridge and maple pantries or sample the cuisine of the Palm Springs area. The kitchen will invite both the dedicated cook and the take out king.
The game room provides that extra space that a family or two couples really need. It is my favorite spot to finish a good book on a hot summer afternoon in the luxury of new air conditioning. This fun space includes a plasma high definition entertainment system with PlayStation 2, a digital video recorder, surround sound, a queen sleeper sofa, game table with poker & black jack tops, board games, cards, PS2 games, and an electronic dart board. 
All of this is in the Tommy Bahama styled den that opens via sliding doors to our lovely and private courtyard and barbeque area. The screen can be pulled across the opening from the game room to give extra guests or family more privacy while visiting our Palm Desert condo rental.

After a good round of golf, a set or two of tennis, or one of the great massages from the spa, you'll look forward to a good night's sleep in this slice of paradise.
