Palm Valley Country Club Condo Rental Membership Levels Explained
You've rented or are looking for a condo to rent in Palm Desert at Palm Valley Country Club, but what do the different membership levels mean?
All membership levels require payment of $25 per family or couple and presentation of your rental agreement at the Palm Valley Country Club front desk at your first visit. All Palm Valley Country Club memberships require the tenant/guest to pay usage fees in addition to the club activation fee. The associated usage fees are listed below. Palm Valley Country Club Membership Categories Explained:
- Platinum - Unlimited. 7 days a week golf access on both the Championship and Challenge Courses; full access to the spa and athletic club; tennis privileges
- Associate Golf - Unlimited M-F Championship golf course play; 7 day Challenge course golf privileges. No tennis. No Athletic Club.
- Sports Golf - Unlimited 7 days/wk Challenge course access; full spa & athletic club facilities; tennis privileges. No Championship course.
- Tennis/Spa & Athletic Club - Unlimited access to tennis privileges; spa & athletic club facility privileges. No golf.
- Spa/Athletic Club - Access to spa & athletic club privileges. No golf. No tennis.
- Proprietary - access to restaurants, salon, and spa services No golf. No tennis. No athletic club.
Palm Valley Country Club Check In and Use in Procedures:
- Present rental agreement at the Palm Valley clubhouse on Palm Valley Drive reception desk between 8am-4pm Monday - Friday. and 8am-12pm Saturday and Sunday.
- Upon registration each person in your party will receive a Tenant Pass that allows access to Palm Valley CC's facilities at the level attached to the condo you are staying in. There are only a maximum of 6 tenant passes issued per condominium/per stay.
- A $25 service fee (per couple, per unit) will apply.
- To take advantage of your tenant privileges simply present your pass and pay the applicable guest fee for services used.

Palm Valley Country Club is a spike less facility. Golf shoes must have soft spikes of rubber soled flat shoes.
If you schedule a tee time, and must cancel, please do so prior to 2 hours before, as you will be charged the full fee if you fail to do so.
The athletic facilities include cardio and fitness center, most group exercise classes, racquetball, and Jr. Olympic Pool.

Palm Valley Country Club Proprietary (Social) Membership Vacation Rentals
A one time per stay charge per couple or family of $25 is collected by Palm Valley County Club at the clubhouse front desk when the membership is activated. A valid rental agreement is required.
Payment of the fitness fees gives you full access to the cardio and fitness center, most group exercise classes, Jr. Olympic pool, and racquetball.
There is a "kids club" available to keep your children safe while you are participating in club activities. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the locker rooms unaccompanied by an adult in accordance with CA state law. Permission may be required by staff for minors to use fitness facilities. Spa services are no longer available to minors, according to CA state law.
Palm Valley Country Club Main Dining Room and Lounge Dress Code Applies to normal ala carte dining, lounge schedule, and to anyone 10 and older.
- Acceptable dress:
- golf attire
- shirts at all times
- ladies shirts must come to the point of the shoulder
- mock turtle neck shirts
- Bermuda length or Golf style shorts
- Unacceptable dress:
- tennis, running, swim, bicycle, or cut-off shorts
- blue denim of any kind (this means black, white, pink, and every denim but blue is ok...)
- men's hats
- tank tops, spaghetti straps
Bogies Open for Lunch
Lunch is served daily in Bogies all year long. Our family's favorites include: kids fish n chips, Cobb salad, and chicken Caesar salad.
Breakfast at Bogies is varied and good. Attentive service as always.
Friday Night Pasta continues in the upstairs restaurant at Palm Valley Country Club

Championship Course Review
We finally got to play golf on "our" course. Keep in mind that raising a family has kept me from this sport for over a decade, and my husband has been able to rarely enjoy it over the same time. We found the course to be in great shape, especially for the end of August. Greens were terrific. Lots of interesting play with some water features right on the approach. The staff is very friendly and tee times were early or right on time. Make sure you say "hi" to "Hank" the new starter on the course.
Since writing the above note, we've been able to play during the season a few times. What a great place. The reseeding was well done and the starters do a great job of accommodating special requests and pairing people up to make a compatible foursome. Fear not lone golfer, or duffer, you too are welcome! Just remember to fix your divots...
Challenge Course Review
Can you say fun? I'm not a golf pro, as you can tell, but I know when something is fun or not. The challenge course is truly a challenge, because of the topography, elbows, and water. It's fun because it is easier to get a family friendly tee time in season, and you never feel rushed, even with a 10 year old who is just learning the game. The beauty on this course at Palm Valley is unsurpassed. The value is tremendous. Enjoy!
Spa & Fitness Review
I've been fortunate enough to use the Palm Valley spa's massage services a few times after this demanding renovation. The staff is efficient and helpful and they aim to please. Be vocal about your needs and they will accommodate you. My friend took advantage of the spa, and is a frequent user of massages for back pain. She got her "best massage ever" here, and at a very affordable price. I cannot wait to go back. The spa desk staff is always helpful, even to our children. Ask for Lisa if you like sport or deep tissue massage - my favorite masseuse.
Facials at "The Retreat" are a done using high end French Yonka products. I'm no expert, but my first facial here was well done with attention to my sensitive skin.
Exercise facilities are always clean, the machines work, and they are never crowded - plus the air conditioning works great. There are treadmills, Stairmasters, elliptical trainers, bikes, mats, balls, and TV's for your viewing pleasure at Palm Valley Country Club's fitness facilities. Lots of choices for strength training including free weights. I'm told the spinning classes are so good that they are addictive and Pilates is now part of the repertoire at PVCC. Professional staff will show you the ropes if this is your first visit to Palm Valley Country Club.
Go to Bogie's for a smoothie when you are done.
