Things to Do in Oceanside California

Oceanside California is a classic, if not honky tonk, beach town in a near perfect location. Not only are there plenty of things to do in Oceanside, there is an infinite amount of things to do near Oceanside. Take your pick: Oceanside, San Diego County, San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles area, Temecula wine tasting, Julian apple picking, even a quick hop to Mexico - fun things to do as close as a few steps and as far as a 2 hour drive. Spend the day exploring, or to more thoroughly enjoy the fun in and around the Southern California coast, spend a few nights, the week, or more at our Vacation Rental in Oceanside.

Oceanside is a beach town with over 3 miles of coastline and which spreads inland in the San Luis Rey Valley. Our beaches are some of the widest and sandiest, our pier the longest wooden one in Southern California.  We're home to historic Highway 101 and Missiion San Luis Rey.  The city is a water sports haven centered at the beaches, pier, and small craft harbor.  We boast one of the best climates in the world with year long high's averaging 66 - 78 degrees F and lows averaging 49 - 67 F, making it easy to do just about anything, any time.
