Driving Directions from San Diego Airport to North Coast Village in Oceanside, CA 
Oceanside California is a beach town along the coast of sunny southern CA and is 35 miles north of the city of San Diego, about 25 miles south of Orange County ("The O.C."), and 85 miles from Los Angeles. You will find Oceanside to be a convenient alternative to some of the busier southern California beach towns like: Mission Beach to the south, and Newport or Huntington Beach to the north. What makes all of these beaches special and unique in southern CA is that they all provide easy and safe access to broad, flat, sandy beaches that are good for swimming, boogie boarding, surfing, and sunning. What makes Oceanside better is that it is less crowded, less expensive, and more centrally located to ALL the attractions that the metropolitan areas of San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles have to offer.
North Coast Village is a resort like complex of a little more than 500 units. It is on the northern side of Oceanside, and the complex is right on the beach. This beach front condo complex has the ideal proximity to the beach, harbor, and pier.

North Coast Village occupies that large square of property between Breakwater Way and the blue shown before Harbor Drive. Notice the location of the beach, harbor, and pier. Oceanside California has approximately 3.5 miles of flat, sandy beach, running from Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base to the north, down to Carlsbad to the south. This beach vacation rental is on the northern end of Oceanside, in the heart of the thriving waterfront and harbor area. North Coast Village is convenient to the train, which means that the units on the east side can get a lot of train noise.

C304 is set back (nice privacy) on the top floor of the C building (you cannot see our roof top deck in this photo). D304 is the closest building to the sand and the letter D is generally the condo location. C213 cannot be seen in this photo. All units that end in odd numbers are in the interior of the "quad". C213 has both a garden/pool and ocean view. The complex comes to the sand, but Breakwater Way splits the A building from ours, and that is on this side.
Our unit: C304 and Cece's Beach Condo: D304, are on the south / south east side (the beach is south) of the complex for lots of great sun and beach views, and it is on the quiet top floor, but not ON the beach - the complex is - our unit is not (only a handful are - and though lovely - we prefer the security & privacy this setting provides). These two Oceanside California beach vacation rentals do have great ocean views and a roof top deck as well as a balcony. C213 provides a lovely distant ocean view as well as views of the lush tropical grounds of North Coast Village and it's resort like pool and spa. C213 is all on one level for those preferring a traditional condo set up.

I've highlighted the location of our true ocean view unit (C304). This is not a peek a boo view, or a common area view, but real, honest to goodness great beach and surf views. Everything on the bottom where you don't see buildings is the beach. All 3 units that you can reserve through me have honest ocean views in common. D304 is one building closer to the beach, and C213 is a great interior unit with ocean views over the complex grounds.To the left is the San Luis Rey river outlet, walking & bike trails,Oceanside harbor and small craft marina; the right heads toward the pleasure pier and the magnificent Oceanside California strand.
