North Coast Village is the only condo complex with vacation rentals in Oceanside CA that is actually ON THE BEACH. North Coast Village in Oceanside is a tropical condo "resort style" complex. Heated pools, spas, waterfalls & plush landscaping greet you upon arrival through our secure gated & staffed entry. Billiards, pool tables, koi pond, a fitness facility, BBQ's, putting green, and picnic tables await you and your family.
The complex of North Coast Village is composed of approximately 550 privately owned condos. One of the unique things about this Oceanside CA gem is that it allows short term vacation rentals and it is not a time share, condotel, or operated by one company so each vacation rental is truly unique. When you stay at North Coast Village, regardless of who you rent from, you will be staying in a private beach vacation condo, not a hotel. Imagine all the beauty of a first class beach resort, but with room to spread out! North Coast Village has a several buildings: "A, B, C, D, E, F, and G". Buildings B through G form a sort of quad with low rise cottages (D and E cottages) and the beach as one end, and the B and G garage and buildings at the other. On the north side the G, F, E 4 floor "high rises" have lower cottages on the outside and abut the San Luis Rey River and face the harbor. On the south side, the B, C, and D "high rises" and lower cottages face Breakwater Way, the beach, and the pier. Across Breakwater Way stands the more subdued A building and cottages which forms it's own sort of quad and optimizes ocean views for many units. You will find a vacation rental at North Coast Village to match almost any need and budget: from studios to 3 bedrooms. There is a strict maximum occupancy structure enforced, which helps to maintain a pleasant environment for vacationers and residents alike. Studios = 2 persons, 1 bedroom condos=4 persons, 2 bedroom vacation rentals = 6 persons, and 3 bedroom beach rentals = 8 persons. Of course individual owners and managers may enforce stricter limits. Few if any units have air conditioning as the ocean breeze generally keeps things very comfortable here at the beach. We have one of the most temperate climates in the world. The entire beach complex of North Coast Village is pet free so you will need to leave Fido and Fluffy at home. After summer is over, North Coast Village maintains its charm with beautiful lights during the holidays. The climate remains mild, and many come to visit us for our warm falls, and mild winters. We attract guests from all over the world and are a summer favorite for visitors from Arizona, Utah, and the inland valleys of California. Off season we herald many visitors from Washington, Canada, and the Midwest. As a city so close to San Diego, Camp Pendleton, and many world headquarters, we are also called home, at least temporarily for extended stays and corporate housing. Many owners offer discounts to active military in support of Camp Pendleton.
Oceanside CA is a city on the rise - like a Phoenix. It is said that the crane should be the city bird right now, as there are so many wonderful projects going on right now. It's and exciting time to visit the city of Oceanside, and no better place to stay than at the beach in the center of all the action. North Coast Village is an easy walk across the temporary causeway to the harbor, and only a slightly longer walk down the Strand or the beach to the longest wooden pier in southern CA. There is no better spot to enjoy watersports, and especially boogie boarding and surfing. North Coast Village is the kind of place where you can walk back from the beach to "rest", put fresh ice in your glass, or run back for the sun screen you forgot, without feeling like the trek isn't worth the effort...The city itself is on the historic path of Route 101 as well as the missionary path from California, Spanish, and Mexican History. You'll find cafes, shops, and small museums on Historic 101 and can visit the Mission San Luis Rey right in Oceanside.

This vacation rental is the perfect place to spend a long weekend or the whole winter. Great for the corporate rental, a temporary relocation, or snowbirds. For those that want to stay in touch or need to work there is wireless DSL. You can enjoy the game in the comfortable family room or the news in the queen bed as both rooms have cable TV. Although Oceanside has one of the best climates in the world, for those chilly winter evenings and mornings there is a lovely and easy light gas fireplace as well as electric wall heat. When the day warms up as it usually does, you'll want to have a seat on the balcony. The only problem will be which view to take in: the pool and tropical grounds, or the waves! This beach condo sleeps up to 4 people. Only $1500/mo this fall and winter. $1300/wk summer. Minimum 3 night stay.

Decorated by an artist, you will find this to be the consummate beach vacation rental. Just bring your sunscreen and bathing suit and we supply the rest. You are welcome to arrive and depart on any day of the week, and we have a 3 night minimum.
