The cottage is located in the quaint village of Five Islands in Georgetown, Maine. White's Cove is a protected cove on the Little Sheepscot River across from Macmahan Island (a small summer community). This is the perfect cove to kayak over to Robinhood Marina (The Osprey), Gott's Cove (Dena's Lobsta), or Five Islands Wharf for dockside lunches. You will see your neighbors go out to "fish" and pull traps right in our cove.
Georgetown is bordered on the South by the mighty Kennebec and on the North by the deep, clear Sheepscot. Our tides are approximately 9 feet and the cove serene.
